Students learn about the western events calendar that we celebrate. Students are aware of our celebration of New Year, Christmas Eve and Day, but less aware of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This opens up an opportunity to explain what these holidays are about and why they are important to Christian worldwide. In return students tell the teachers what events that they celebrate: Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, and National Day. Tonight, many teachers share dinner with the students in the students’ cafeteria. This offers an opportunity to further our friendship. The originally scheduled Games night was postponed due to heavy rain. Students will spend the entire evening doing the concert project. Each class will perform a 5-minute song and dance on stage in front of the entire summer camp students and teachers. We notice that they are all very talented students, and they can be very creative.
